Covid-19 Rapid Antigen Test

We now offer the BD Veritor  System for Rapid Detection of SARS-CoV-2  to test our patient for the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). The BD Veritor is a type of antigen test. Antigen tests are designed to detect proteins from the virus that causes COVID-19.

 

Antigen tests are very specific for the virus, but are not as sensitive as molecular tests. This means that a positive result is highly accurate with the antigen test, but a negative result does not rule out infection and a molecular test may be needed to confirm patient is negative for COVID. This antigen test will allow us to provide you with rapid positive or negative results same day!

Biofire- Respitory Panel (PCR) - Includes Covid 19

Our office now offers  the BioFire RP2.1-EZ Panel uses a syndromic approach to accurately detect and identify a wide range of pathogens—including SARS-CoV-2. The panel identifies a menu of 19 respiratory targets in one multiplex PCR test, with results in about 45 minutes.
